Crown Core Bit Segments for Retipping

Description

There are two different types of diamond core bit segments: crown type and bar type. They complement each other in function. Crown core bit segments are rings used for retipping on small-diameter core drill bits (our range is from 14mm to 50mm). They are not appropriate for big core drill bits because the larger size of crown-type segments increases costs rapidly. Bar-type diamond core drill bit segments can handle larger core drill bits easily, but welding them onto very small core drill bits is not achievable.

Our crown core bit segments are specially designed for drilling concrete and reinforced concrete. Top-quality diamonds and high cobalt powder are used to ensure their stable performance and long life. Three different quality levels are designed for drilling various types of concrete and reinforced concrete. We accept OEM/ODM services for the core drill bit segments and can adjust the diamond formulas for your actual drilling applications.

To meet various concrete drilling applications, we provide three different quality levels of crown core bit segments for drilling different types of concrete:

• Grade A for Heavily Reinforced Concrete
• Grade B for Mdium Reinforced Concrete
• Grade C for Concrete & Lightly Reinforced Concrete

Different grades of core bit segments have varying qualities of diamonds and segment formulas. Grade A segments use imported diamonds from Element Six in Ireland to ensure fast cutting through highly reinforced concrete. Other grades use top-brand domestic diamonds in China. Arix core drill bit segments are the fastest and can be used for dry cutting, while other segments are designed for wet drilling only.

Size of crown core bit segments

Our crown core bit segments are used for retipping on small core drill bits, diameters from 14mm to 50mm. All the segment thickness is 3.0 mm and the height is 10mm. Please check our standard sizes as the chart below:
