Description
This concrete diamond core bit features a 177mm diameter and a 250mm length, customized by our customers for specific concrete drilling projects. The high-frequency welding is evident from the visible solder traces at the joints between the segments and the barrel. This core bit is suitable for drilling concrete, hard concrete, brick, block, and similar materials. However, for reinforced concrete, we recommend laser welding, as it can withstand higher cutting forces and reduce the risk of segment loss.
The primary advantage of roof segments on concrete core drill bits is their ability to penetrate concrete more quickly. The pointed shape of the segments concentrates force at the tip, allowing for faster and more efficient drilling, especially in tough materials like reinforced concrete. This design enhances productivity by reducing drilling time and improving overall performance.
At Xpert Diamond Tools, we offer the flexibility to customize your concrete diamond core bit to suit your exact needs. You can specify key details such as diameter, length, and connection type, ensuring that the bit is perfectly aligned with both your core drilling projects and the specific requirements of your drilling machines. Whether you need a particular segment design, welding method, or specific materials for the segments, we work closely with you to build a tool that maximizes performance and efficiency, making your drilling tasks faster and more precise.
Welding Types
We offer two welding methods for our diamond core bits for concrete: high-frequency welding and laser welding. Laser welding provides superior strength, making it ideal for core bits used on reinforced concrete, where segments endure heavy stress when cutting through rebar. On the other hand, high-frequency welding is typically used for core bits designed for materials such as concrete, lightly reinforced concrete, stone, brick, and other construction materials.

3 specifications
When purchasing concrete diamond core bits, it is essential to confirm three key specifications: diameter, length, and connection type. Once these are determined, we can manufacture a tool precisely tailored to your needs.
Diameter
Core bits have two diameters due to the thickness of the barrel: the outside and inside diameters. However, “diameter” typically refers to the outside diameter.
Length
A core drill bit consists of three main parts: the segments, barrel body, and connection. While each part has its own length, “length” generally refers to the barrel body alone, excluding the connection and segments.
Connection
The connection type is another critical specification, as it determines how the core bit attaches to your drilling machine. Threaded connections are the most common, including 1 1/4″ UNC, G 1/2″, M14, and 5/8″-11.
Packaging – concrete diamond core bit
Packaging of short diamond core bits
Packaging of long diamond core bits
We use specialized packaging methods for our short and long diamond core drill bits to ensure they are well-protected during transit.
For short core bits, we pack them in a durable green hard box with foam cushioning, offering maximum impact protection.
For longer core bits, we wrap the body in a protective net to prevent scratches, then place it securely in a white box. This customized packaging guarantees both types of drill bits arrive safely and in pristine condition, ready for use.
