A diamond wire saw, also known as a diamond rope saw, consists of beads, steel wire, and other components. It comes in various types, such as rubber, plastic, and spring variations. Increasingly popular for cutting stone and concrete, it offers more flexibility compared to traditional diamond saw blades.
Greater cutting versatility
Diamond wires can cut through a wide range of materials, including concrete, stone, and metal, with greater flexibility than diamond saw blades. They are particularly effective for cutting irregular shapes, large blocks, or when access is limited.
Lower cutting force
Diamond wire saws apply less force to the material being cut, which reduces the load on the machinery. This not only decreases wear and tear on the equipment and maintenance needs but also better protects the material being cut, minimizing the risk of damage due to excessive cutting force.
Less Vibration and Noise
Diamond wire saws produce less vibration and noise during operation, making the cutting process smoother and more suitable for environments where quiet operation is required. Additionally, lower vibration reduces the impact on the material being cut, ensuring a smoother and more precise cut.
Better for Large-Scale Cutting
Diamond wire saws handle larger, thicker materials, making them ideal for heavy industrial applications where traditional blades struggle. They efficiently and precisely cut marble blocks in quarries and reinforced concrete on construction sites.
Concrete wire saw ropes are ideal for clearance and demolition work, such as dismantling bridges, buildings, and other large-scale reinforced concrete structures. They operate efficiently regardless of wall thickness or the amount of reinforcement present.
Our concrete wire saw rope uses high-quality steel wires from the famous brand of Bekaert from Belgium.

4 things you may need to know
To make the right choice when buying a concrete wire saw rope, there are mainly four things you may need to know.
1. Fixed type of diamond beads
There are three types of concrete wire saw ropes: plastic, rubber, and rubber with spring. For cutting concrete and reinforced concrete, the rubber + spring type is most commonly used. The rubber helps reduce wear on the rope, while the springs provide a buffer between beads, which is essential for preventing bead movement caused by excessive resistance when cutting through steel bars.

2. Beads type
We offer two different types of beads for concrete cutting: sintered and vacuum brazed. Each type of bead is designed to different cutting needs, allowing you to choose the one that best fits your specific requirements.
Sintered beads are engineered to offer a balanced performance, providing an optimal combination of cutting speed and lifespan. They are designed to deliver reliable results over a longer period, making them suitable for various cutting tasks where both efficiency and durability are important.
Vacuum brazed beads, on the other hand, are specifically designed for faster cutting. The vacuum brazing process creates a robust bond between the diamond and the bead, which enhances cutting speed and efficiency. These beads are ideal for applications requiring quick and precise cuts, although they may have a shorter lifespan compared to sintered beads.

3. Beads size
For concrete cutting diamond wires, we offer three sizes of sintered beads: 10.5mm, 11.0mm, and 11.5mm. Each size can be used for different applications, providing varying cutting performance for heavily reinforced concrete, standard reinforced concrete, and steel or metal structures.

4. Pricing method
Unlike other diamond tools that are typically sold by quantity, the diamond wire saw is sold by the meter. This approach allows for customization based on the specific length required for each job. Additionally, an essential specification for the diamond wire saw rope is the number of diamond beads per meter.
The bead density directly influences the cutting efficiency, speed, and overall performance of the wire. A higher bead count per meter generally provides more cutting points, leading to faster and smoother cuts, while a lower bead count might be used for less demanding applications. This flexibility in bead quantity per meter allows for the diamond wire saw to be tailored to different cutting tasks and material types. Our standard quantity of sintered beads per meter of concrete wire saw rope is 40 pieces

Payment methods and terms
Regarding the payment process for concrete wire saw rope, here are three key points:
- Currency: We accept payments in various currencies, including USD, EUR, RMB, and others.
- Payment Methods: Our supported payment methods include T/T (bank transfer) and Credit Cards.
- Payment Terms: For small orders, we require 100% payment in advance due to the relatively small amount. Splitting payments into multiple installments may incur additional bank fees. For large orders, we accept 70% payment in advance to initiate the order, with the remaining 30% balance due before shipment.
Furthermore, in support of our customers’ testing needs, we offer a 3% discount on sample (trial) orders. This discount will be reflected on the Proforma Invoice (PI).
Lead time
Lead time depends on various factors, primarily influenced by product type and order quantity. For concrete wire saw rope, we maintain a diverse inventory of different diamond beads, steel wire, springs, and other components. Consequently, orders for these commonly used segments and cores can be expedited.
However, if you require customized tools or those not previously manufactured, initial production may take longer. Subsequent orders typically enjoy faster processing as we become more acquainted with your specifications.
Sample orders are typically shipped within 7-10 days. Regarding your orders, we strive for prompt delivery. But for your side, you need to plan a reasonable purchasing plan before your tools run/sell out, considering the production period and transportation time.
For urgent small orders, please contact us, and we can prioritize your tool production.
Anyway, we’ll provide an estimated lead time once your order details (including type and quantity) are confirmed.
Packaging
For packaging concrete wire saw rope, we first determine the appropriate packing length based on standard or customer requirements. The rope is then wrapped in transparent plastic to secure and waterproof it. Finally, the wrapped concrete wire saw rope are packed into sturdy cartons or wooden boxes, ensuring protection during storage and shipping.
Shipping methods
For delivery, there are five main shipping methods: Express, Air Freight, and Sea Freight are the most commonly used, while Rail and Truck are typically employed for destinations in Central Asia, Russia, Belarus, etc.
These shipping methods differ in various aspects. Let’s examine the main differences among Express, Air Freight, and Sea Freight.

Cautions
Before using the concrete wire saw rope, there are some points that you need to consider.
- The concrete wire saw rope needs to be pre-twisted before the cut process, about two and a half turns per meter, in order to obtain its axial rotation during the process.
- Before use, the concrete wire saw rope should be idling for 10-20 minutes, and the idling speed should be 15-20 m/s.
- Make sure the cutting direction is consistent with the beads’ sharpening direction.
