Description

In terms of structure, there are two types of diamond core drill bits: one is whole and complete, while the other is assembled. They have different methods for reusing the barrel after the segments are exhausted.

For the completed core drill bits, you can retip the core bit segments using welding equipment. For the assembled ones, you can simply use a replacement drilling head. Retipping the core bit segments is more complicated, but if you are drilling concrete or reinforced concrete, we recommend retipping for more reliable performance. The assembled type is more likely to be used for drilling other materials such as stone or brick.

Our aero concrete core bit segments are available in three different quality grades for dealing with concrete, reinforced concrete, and heavily reinforced concrete. High cobalt formulas are especially effective for drilling heavily reinforced concrete and deliver maximum performance. 3 quality levels

To meet various concrete drilling applications, we provide three different quality levels of concrete core drill bit segments for drilling different types of concrete:

• Grade A for Heavily Reinforced Concrete
• Grade B for Mdium Reinforced Concrete
• Grade C for Concrete & Lightly Reinforced Concrete

Different grades of core bit segments have varying qualities of diamonds and segment formulas. Grade A segments use imported diamonds from Element Six in Ireland to ensure fast cutting through highly reinforced concrete. Other grades use top-brand domestic diamonds in China. Arix core drill bit segments are the fastest and can be used for dry cutting, while other segments are designed for wet drilling only.

Size of core bit segment for retipping

As a professional diamond segment manufacturer, Xpert Diamond Tools provides two different types of core drill bit segments for concrete and reinforced concrete drilling: crown type and bar type. The crown segment is ring-shaped and used only on small core drill bits under 50mm. Meanwhile, a series of bar segments have been developed, including Normal, Turbo, Roof, Turbo+Roof, Turbo+Zigzag, Arix, Net+Roof, and Aero. These have a much wider application and can be used on very large core drill bits, up to 500mm in diameter.
